Our Grass-Fed Grass-Finished Icelandic lamb has wowed our customers for years. Icelandic lamb is known for turning lamb-haters into lamb-lovers due to it's mild and smooth, yet rich and buttery flavor and tenderness.

We have our lamb cut to our standard cut sheet so you don't have to do anything but enjoy the meat! If you have any special requests, please let us know znd we will try our best to have those honored.

Our lamb is gaining in popularity and folks are reserving their whole and half lamb packages up to a year in advance, so do not wait to place your lamb deposit with us!

Pricing:

Lamb will be ready in November of this year. I am taking deposits of $300 for whole lambs and $150 for half lambs up front to hold slots, because folks are pretty good about thinking ahead and we usually sell out before we even bring our lambs in to be processed.

Choose from three options for Taste of the Wind Lamb this year

USDA Harvest:

Lambs will be processed at Western Heritage Meat Company in Sheridan Wyoming this fall. Lambs processed USDA will be flash-frozen and vac-packed in high-quality plastic packaging for maximum freezer storage life.

USDA Processing is $190 per lamb and lambs on-the-hoof are $300. (You can always opt to process your lamb yourself, and thus avoid processing charges).

Half lamb processing is $95 plus a split fee of $30 for a total of $125.

Total processing costs will be due when lamb is ready for pickup at the butcher.

Custom Harvest:

Lambs processed in a local, custom plant will be wrapped in cellophane and paper. Custom lamb processing is $125 for a whole lamb and $75 for a half-lamb.

Total processing costs will be due when lamb is ready for pickup at the butcher.

Self-Harvest: Come harvest your own lamb on the just outside of Laramie this Fall!

These Lambs have been on Wyoming pastures all season, and will be ready for harvest this fall.

Our farm harvest day Late Sept/Early October will be announced as we get closer to fall. If our harvest day does not work for you, we will find a day that does!

Self-harvest is free of charge and will not require any further payment on harvest day.

If you would like to split a lamb, bring a friend to the harvest day!

I will email you with a list of materials to bring and some tips for success.

Please let me know if you have any questions and I will be happy to answer them.

We hope you are excited to fill your freezer with grass-fed and finished, locally-raised lamb!
